OVERVIEW
The Apollo-Box is a flexible and reasonably priced 2- or 4-channel data acquisition system with a USB 2.0 interface. This small and robust box transforms a PC combined with our flexible software into a high-quality multi-channel measuring instrument for a wide variety of acoustic and vibration measurement applications.
 
Based on your measurement requirements you may choose from variants with 2 or 4 LEMO7 inputs or 4 BNC inputs. Further additional channels extend the functionality of the Apollo-Box. Among others 8 additional low-sample-rate channels and 2 tacho or trigger channels are available. You may also use the Apollo-Box as a channel extension to the Soundbook MK2 measurement system, for example.

The new SINUS Apollo_box is our flexible and inexpensive 4-channel front-end device with USB 2.0 interface. The robust and small box can easily be used with any Windows Personal Computer and a wide range of application software.
It is a universal portable measuring system for acoustic, vibration and engineering measurements in general, representing the latest generation of mobile PC-controlled instruments on the basis of the new Apollo™ hardware platform
According to your requirements you may choose from variants having 4 main channels with LEMO7 or BNC input connectors. The additional 8 slow channels, 2 Tacho & Trigger channels, Synchronization port and AUX port make the Apollo_box suitable for many applications. You can use up to 4 boxes with one PC to increase the number of channels; the Apollo_box can also be used as a channel extension unit for the ruggedized Soundbook_MK2.

Our SAMURAI™ 2.0. software package includes sound level meters according to IEC 61672-1 and third-octave analyzers according to IEC 61260, with 2 or 4 channels. For multi-channel systems with 4x Apollo_box we offer the extension to 16 channels.
Alternative software solutions include:
  • SMT (SINUS Matlab Toolbox) for individual programming
  • µREMUS for mechanical investigations
  • AFD 1000 for measurements with impedance tube.

General technical specification of APOLLO_box
The following data refer to the 4-channel versions Apollo_box_4L (LEMO7) and Apollo_box_4B (BNC). Alternatively we offer the Apollo_PCIe slot card with 4 input channels (BNC) or 8 input channels (SMB). The Apollo_box is able to operate with any Windows-based PC via USB 2 interface.
What is ME’scopeVES?
ME’scopeVES (Visual Engineering Series) is a family of software packages and options that make it easier for you to observe, analyze, and document noise & vibration problems in machinery and structures. ME’scopeVES is used to display and analyze experimental multi-channel time or frequency domain data, acquired during the operation of a machine, or forced vibration of a structure.
